What's Auto-tune?
Auto-tune is a program that allows us to correct the pitch of a vocal performance or other monophonic melody. In other words, if a vocalist delivers a performance that is slightly out of key, we can fix that.
What's Beat Detective?
Beat Detective is a program that allows us to correct the timing of a rhythmic performance, provided it was recorded to a metronome. In other words, if a drummers playing is a little out of time, as long he/she played to a metronome, we can make it sound spot on.
Should I bring my own firewire drive?
Yes.
What if I don't have a firewire drive?
If you don't have a drive, we can record your session on one of ours, but you won't be able to take the sessions with you afterward, and your session will most likely be deleted shortly thereafter.
What's a firewire drive?
A firewire drive is an external computer hard drive that connects to the computer via a firewire cable, which is used to record your session onto.
