Recording
Recording is booked and charged by the hour with a minimum of 4 hours per day and includes the services of an experienced engineer at no additional charge. The studio is equipped to track all smaller scale instruments (i.e. - vocals, guitars, handheld percussion, etc.). If your project involves tracking a full drum kit, for example, we can recommend other good facilities in which to do so.
You are encouraged to bring your own firewire drive so that you may keep all data after the session is completed.
Rates from $35 per hour.
Mixing
Whether or not you record your tracks at Casbah, mixing is generally charged on a per-song basis. Exceptional care is taken to ensure that each mix is perfect, and you will be given the opportunity to approve all mixes (and if you prefer, take part in the mixing process) before they are completed and returned to you. Mixing will also include any performance correction necessary (i.e. - manual Auto-tune, Beat Detective, etc.).
If you did not record your tracks at Casbah, it is ideal to provide us with a firewire drive containing Pro Tools sessions. If this is not possible, we can discuss other suitable options for data transfer.

Mastering
If your tracks are mixed at Casbah, we will include the mastering at no additional charge, if you so desire. If your tracks are already mixed, mastering is charged on a per-song basis.
If your tracks were not mixed at Casbah, it is ideal to provide us with a firewire drive, data CD, or data DVD containing unmastered stereo bounces at the bit depth and sample rate you recorded in. For the best results, the tracks should have no compression, EQ, or plug-ins of any kind on the master bus, and should not contain any digital clipping (reds).
The rate for clients not recording at Casbah is $50 per song.
